Founder’s Day was held on Wednesday 8th February 2017. Founder’s day takes place on or near February 20th, the date of Sir John Cass’s birth in 1661 and celebrates the life and work of the Founder. The very first procession took place in 1749, when the children of the school walked through the streets of St. Botolph’s parish, ending up in the church, where a special sermon was preached.
